During my tenure as Director and Dean of Global College, I spent fifteen years traveling with students through Japan, China, Taiwan, Thailand, India, Nepal, South Africa, Costa Rica, Turkey and Israel. This cross-cultural work with radically different notions of the self, feelings and desire transformed my understanding of Buddhist practice.
